November 30, 2017 – There have been many exciting changes since we launched Orlans PC six months ago. Orlans PC is the result of the merger of Orlans Associates, Orlans Moran, and Atlantic Law Group on April 1, 2017. Since that time, we have worked tirelessly to create a streamlined structure and environment for our clients to experience first class service and performance.

First, I would like to introduce you to our talented team. As a women-owned firm, 56% of our attorneys are also women. You probably know Linda Orlans, Julie Moran, and James Clarke.
You may not know our other attorney leaders, all of whom have been with Orlans’ companies for years and are demonstrated experts in their fields. Attached is a short bio overview of each of them. They are knowledgeable about our clients, our industry, our processes and the law.

We have aligned our structure to facilitate collaboration between offices and regions. This allows our attorneys to interact with their fellow experts more directly, sharing best practices and collaborating on solutions for our clients. 58% of our attorneys are barred in more than one Orlans’ jurisdiction, and 100% of our attorneys are trained in lean six sigma principles.

We continue to focus on robust, expert, creative representation for our clients. Orlans PC attorneys contribute to approximately 15 different state and local bar associations as speakers, authors, and legislative analysts. Our attorneys serve on governing boards for the Real Property Sections in Michigan, Delaware, and Massachusetts. Others serve as leaders for the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, on local rules committees affecting title standards and bankruptcy rules, and another is an editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Monthly Journal. Our attorneys have lectured on topics including the enforceability of e-notes, the preparation of POCs, equitable subrogation, and the quiet title process. Orlans attorneys have presented on more than 20 panels this year, and conducted 14 client trainings. In the past six months, our attorneys have argued cases at the highest levels, including a case of first impression before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, several FDCPA challenges before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and an eviction matter before the Delaware Supreme Court. Orlans was also pleased to receive the USFN Diamond Award for  the ninth consecutive year, with our highest point totals ever.

Orlans attorneys are committed to delivering best in class representation to you, our clients. The merger has not only made that easier, it has made us better. We hope you see that demonstrated in your files every day. We continuously push ourselves to lead the way for our industry. We welcome the opportunity to serve you and are thankful for your business.
